Write about a time when you didn’t take action but wish you had. What would you do differently?
TBT to the Baseball European Cup in San Marino & Rimini in 2005. I went at bat in the last Inning of a close and our final game, to face a hard throwing lefty. Instead of being calm and loose, I tightened up and tried harder. Just thinking about it still gives me a hard time because I felt so knowingly overpowered. Nevertheless if I could travel back in time I would self talk and say: “this is an at bat just like any other, been there & done that.” Take a few easy swings before entering the batters box and talk to the ump and catcher…
