3 years ago i finally chose to come through with a thought, which was lingering in my mind for at least a decade. Pursuing a career opportunity as a coach outside of Baseball. My girlfriend gave me a jumpstart by submitting my application. I guess it’s been a risk that I had some help with, and it wouldn’t be genuine not to mention this. Nevertheless it panned out just like i have dreamed about. Being part of a great organization, meeting amazing people, and enjoy coaching a sport that i loved since the days of Jordan, Magic, and Bird.

I had the privilege of watching Magic play Basketball while he was a freshman at Michigan State U, when I was a graduate student. I also played HORSE with him. The basketball players often came up to the third flier at Jennison Fieldhouse to play basketball at the far end away from the gymnastics training area. He was a very nice kid, with a smile that lit up the room.

Hi Don, Magic was this super likeable and charismatic athlete. I prefered Michael a little bit more because of his freakish athleticism. Unfortunately never met Magic but had a big poster on the wall of him dribbling a ball. 🏀
