On the last day of camp we had a special guest stop by, former MLB Player Desi Relaford. Everybody got even more excited when it was Raffle-time where the participants had the chance to win signed Baseballs by Max Kepler and Randy Myers.

Thank you again to Randy Myers for coming all the way from the US to Germany and helping with the development of our Baseballprogramm. The input and insight he was willing to share was huge, besides the impact he made by taking time to help his friend, Don Freeman, run his Baseballcamp…

Zu diesem kam aus den USA der ehemalige MLB Profi Randy Myers, welcher ebenfalls ein Freund des Berlin Flamingos Head Coach Don Freeman ist. Durch diese Verbindung war es den Kinder gegönnt mit einem ALL STAR und World Series Sieger zu trainieren. Er half ihnen dabei ihre Technik zu verbessern und gab ihnen Tipps wie man sich auf ein Spiel vorbereitet. Es waren drei heisse Tage voller Baseballaction und -freude im Flamingo Ballpark. Auch am zweiten Tag war Cameron mit der Kamera aktiv. Dabei sind folgende Aufnahmen entstanden. Das Camp wurde von den Berlin Flamingos veranstaltet und fand im Flamingo Ballpark statt.

Summer Pitcher Catcher Camp with Randy Myers

We are having a special treat for all those interested in developing their Skills as Pitcher and/or Catchers this summer. For three days, from June 24th through June 26th, former MLB All Star Randy Myers will be coaching at Flamingo Ballpark in Berlin-Reinickendorf. He played more than a decade in the “Big Leagues” and won the World Series in 1990 with the Cincinnatti Reds. He was part of the infamous “Nasty Boys” who were known as the toughest and hardest throwing Bullpen during that time.

In order to participate you have to know a little about Baseball, and we can’t recommend rookies/beginners to sign up. Also you need to bring your own gear/equipment. Please bring regular sneakers and your cleats!

Costs: 120 € per Person (siblings will only have to pay 110€ each) – if there are more than 2 players signing up from the same club, the club will get a kickback of 20€ for each additional player signing up.

Dates: June 24th – June 26th

Start to End: 9am – 12:30pm (3.5hours)
